By accessing or using our website, WhatsApp booking system, or any other service operated under the Dhruwo Cabs brand (collectively referred to as “the Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of Our Services

Dhruwo Cabs is an internet-based platform that connects customers seeking transportation with independent vehicle owners and drivers who offer such services.

  • We do not own, operate, lease, or control any vehicles listed on the platform.
  • We do not employ any drivers or vehicle owners.
  • We act solely as a facilitator to match customers and service providers for transportation purposes.

Our role ends once a successful match (booking confirmation) is made between a customer and a partner.


2. Relationship Between Parties

When you book a ride through Dhruwo Cabs:

  • You enter into a direct agreement with the driver or vehicle owner, not Dhruwo Cabs.
  • Dhruwo Cabs is not a transportation company, nor does it assume the responsibilities of one.
  • Drivers and vehicle owners act as independent third parties, responsible for their conduct, vehicle condition, and service delivery.

3. Platform Responsibilities

Dhruwo Cabs ensures:

  • A seamless and transparent booking experience.
  • Secure communication between customers and drivers via our digital systems (e.g., WhatsApp, call masking).
  • Availability of customer support to handle booking queries and grievances.
  • Ongoing improvements to enhance the safety, reliability, and usability of the platform.

However, Dhruwo Cabs cannot guarantee the quality, safety, timing, or legality of any services provided by third-party drivers.


4. Limitations of Liability

Dhruwo Cabs shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Accidents, injuries, or deaths occurring during a trip.
  • Vehicle breakdowns, mechanical failures, or poor maintenance.
  • Delays, route changes, cancellations, or no-shows.
  • Theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Misbehavior, misconduct, or illegal activity by any driver, owner, or passenger.

Our responsibility is limited to facilitating the connection and maintaining the booking process. All risks related to travel rest with the customer and the service provider.


5. Payments and Fares

  • Fares shown or estimated during booking are indicative only and may vary based on route, traffic, or driver discretion.
  • Dhruwo Cabs does not collect or hold fares directly unless explicitly stated. Payments are handled between the customer and the driver or through authorized digital channels.
  • Dhruwo Cabs does not control or intervene in fare disputes between customers and drivers but may offer mediation support.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations may be made by either party (customer or driver) before trip commencement.
  • Dhruwo Cabs is not responsible for cancellation fees or refund processing unless explicitly communicated for a specific campaign or booking channel.
  • Disputes regarding refunds or compensation must be resolved directly between the customer and the driver/vehicle owner.

7. Safety and Security

Dhruwo Cabs prioritizes safety by:

  • Verifying drivers’ and vehicles’ details during onboarding.
  • Using a One Number system to keep personal phone numbers private.
  • Providing customer support to report incidents or grievances.

However:

  • Dhruwo Cabs cannot monitor or control real-time driver behavior.
  • Responsibility for safe driving, adherence to traffic rules, and personal safety lies with the respective parties involved in the trip.

8. Grievances and Support

We encourage customers and partners to report issues promptly.
Our support team will:

  • Investigate complaints in good faith.
  • Attempt to mediate fair resolutions.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement if required.

9. Partner and Driver Obligations

Drivers and vehicle owners using our platform agree to:

  • Hold valid driving licenses, vehicle permits, and insurance.

  • Treat customers respectfully and comply with applicable laws.

Dhruwo Cabs reserves the right to deactivate or suspend any partner found violating platform standards or engaging in misconduct.


10. Platform Usage

Users agree not to:

  • Misuse or manipulate the platform.
  • Provide false information during booking or onboarding.
  • Engage in any fraudulent or illegal activities.

Dhruwo Cabs may suspend access to users or partners violating these terms.


11. Data Privacy

Dhruwo Cabs respects user privacy.
We collect only the information necessary to process bookings and ensure service quality.
Personal contact details are protected through our One Number system, and we never sell or share user data with third parties outside legal or operational requirements.

12. Amendments

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts in Durgapur, West Bengal.
